The School of Behavioral Health and Human Services presents “The Undoing: Building New Knowledge and Skills in Advocacy, Prevention, and Intervention for Children and Youth.”

The 2023 BHHS conference seeks to educate and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of professionals and paraprofessionals who work with children and youth. The goal is to provide educational and training activities that engage students and community-based organizations in information gathering and sharing regarding the roles that racial, social, emotional, psychological, and economic barriers have on the mental well-being of minority populations challenged with adverse behavioral health. We hope participants will reflect on how we build new knowledge on the canvas of our lived experiences.

This event will be held in the Student Center on the UNT Dallas campus.
