Sarah Davenport, MDR is the Director of the Community Youth Development program. Sarah brings her expertise in non-profit management, organizational development, community organizing, and conflict resolution. Her passion for this work is two-fold: connecting individuals to resources and tools to foster success as well as designing and implementing systems that support continuous success for individuals in spaces where growth cultivates a sense of empowerment. She has helped start a non-profit for teenage girls coming out of sex trafficking, developed programming for a non-profit for young girls for civic and political leadership, and facilitated conflict resolution in federal prison, and provided consultative services to the US Institute of Peace on best practices for implementing peace initiatives on the local level. Sarah holds a Master’s of Arts in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services Management and Leadership from the University of North Texas at Dallas.
