Lathera Addison, MSW, is the Manager for the Community Youth Development program. She brings 15 years of experience in education, including K-12 and higher education—possessing extensive knowledge and experience in grants management, program development, and higher education. Before this role, she served as a Senior Manager for Student Services, where she developed a career readiness curriculum for collegiate high school students. Other contributions include expanding the Federal Work-Study Program to include off-campus positions and collaborations with local businesses to create internships. Her zeal for Social Work matches her passion for education. She holds a master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, specializing in Community and Administrative Practice. Her nonprofit program development experience includes programming to assist women in the transition from homelessness. She is an advocate committed to the journey of serving the community who recognizes the importance of intentional programming for youth development.
